📣 FinGeo School & Call for Short Presentations – Bologna Workshop

The FinGeo Network is pleased to launch a Call for Short Paper Presentations for its upcoming FinGeo School and Workshop, which will take place in Bologna, Italy, from 1 to 4 February 2026. Hosted by the University of Bologna, this event brings together academics, policymakers, practitioners, and early- to senior-career researchers to engage in cutting-edge discussions on financial geography.

🏛️ Event Overview

• FinGeo School (1–2 February 2026): A targeted training program focused on field research methodologies in financial geography, ideal for early-career researchers, including PhD students and post‑docs.

• FinGeo Workshop (3–4 February 2026): A research forum debating key themes such as sustainable finance, bio-finance, climate finance, social business finance, relational credit, and development finance, all approached through diverse disciplinary lenses including geography, political economy, and political science.

  
  

📝 Call for Short Presentations

We invite submissions of concise paper presentations that address current advances in financial geography and related fields. Accepted contributions will be featured in the workshop program and offer high visibility among interdisciplinary peers.
