The International Seminar on Geography, Finance and Uneven Development intends to re-engage with, and broaden the discussions in, the field of geography of finance, as well as to consolidate the interdisciplinary debate that the subject itself requires.

The following themes should inspire the abstract submissions:

  1. finance on the periphery of the capitalist system;

  2. capital markets and global financial flows;

  3. the insertion of Brazil in the global financial system;

  4. the geography of banking systems;

  5. corporate finance and territory;

  6. information and finance;

  7. State agents and financialization processes;

  8. financial agents and regional development;

  9. cities, real estate and finance;

  10. alternative and solidarity finance;

  11. financialization of everyday life.
